Sara Ali Khan recently appeared in Ae Watan Mere Watan. Her younger brother, Ibrahim Khan, is now preparing to embark on his Bollywood career as an actor. So, everyone is talking about Sara Ali Khan, correct? She’s already established in the industry. But now, all eyes are on her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. He’s also eager to break into Bollywood. Sara spilled the beans in a recent ANI interview, gushing about Ibrahim’s talent. She is rooting for him and wishes him all the luck and success in the world. (Psst… Watch Sara Ali Khan discuss how she wants to be a role model for her brother, Ibrahim!)

Sara Said

Sara was asked if she wanted to be a role model for her brother through her work. She said, “No, I don’t feel like setting an example for him. My brother is quite sharp… it’s his life, luck, and talent. We were both raised the same way, so I’m confident he’ll stick to his chosen path. And no matter how far you travel, you will always return to yourself. That’s what our mother, Amrita Singh, taught us.

Shabnam Hashmi

Film is on the life of the freedom fighter Usha Mehta , a brave young girl who started an underground radio station to support the Quit India movement.

A strong reminder of the hard fought freedom and a tribute to thousands of freedom fighters who were martyred fighting against  brute British imperialism.

Must be shown to young people to understand why we must safeguard the constitution and democracy and respect the sacrifices of lakhs of people.

Excellent acting by Sara Ali Khan and excellent direction and story. A film which unites the nation . Good break after a series of sponsored horrible polarising films that the citizens have been subjected to.

A must watch .

Should be shown on the big screen too.

Thanks Karan Johar for producing it.

I feel proud that so many ppl sacrificed their life , their family , their love for sake Of Bharat /India

Indians have found many ways to start this Quit India movement which is incredible and this is one amongst them . Never heard this that they made Radio as a weapon to trigger Indians and that’s why there are many unsung heroes.

Few things are missed out , her father’s role as Judge , Lohia’s involvement not much shown …but thats fine can be ignored at times.

Imraan Hashmi was a surprise but he did well.. Sara Ali Khan was ok in acting

Except these 2 , all new characters which is good and they did well.

Chintan Mehta

Good attempt. Though Sara Ali Khan is too young to play the character of Usha Mehta,  I find her acting good. What surprised me is that the mass killing in the end by British police( or whoever gives the order to ‘finish them’ as it happened in Jalianwala Baug),  no action was taken against the person/s involved in the killing.

Old Bombay sets and buildings with properties of 1942 were appreciable. The judge Mr Mehta is not shown even once performing his duty as Judge !!!!!

Overall a reasonable film.

The theme is superb narrating the heroic saga of Usha Mehta in freedom fighting. Unlike many movies this time based on whims and wrong narrative this one tries to make justice to the events happened in the history of 1950’s decade. Sara Ali Khan makes justice to the character. The one who are calling her dipped in napotism can look around. You will find many of them. Music and background adds flavour to the film and pops up the patriotic emotions.. Over all it’s a superb historical saga.

Piku Choudhury

A much needed biopic on Usha Mehta. Very well crafted indeed. She was a very young freedom fighter, only 22, when she set up the Congress Radio as her crucial contribution to the Quit India Movement of 1942. The film makers and actors have done justice to the theme and I found myself immersed in the events of the film as they unfolded.

Devapriya Joddar

Excellent movie. We need more such movies on real feminism and Usha Mehta is one of those unsung heroes of Indian Independence Movement who has not found a place in our school history textbooks. Great film to watch on the history of radio in India and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia’s contributions. 10/10.

Azhar Pasha

Great movie. To know the importance of great attempts and sacrifice made by our real heroes for freedom of Bharath/India/Hindustan. And also  now we have people who are fighting and hating each other for religion or caste in modern day India which is under control of political parties., in those days Britishers now political parties, shame!!!

Leave apart from that movie is good and better than those shity films

The Nepo Privilege never went away !!

Usha Mehta played a significant role in India’s struggle for independence. However, Sara Ali Khan’s portrayal of her in the movie fell short of capturing her essence.

The challenges and perseverance Usha Mehta endured appeared artificial and lacked authenticity on screen. Sara Ali Khan’s portrayal failed to convey the true spirit of Usha Mehta’s struggle.

Additionally, her privileged background seemed to overshadow the genuine hardship portrayed by Usha Mehta, resulting in a lack of empathy and emotional depth in the portrayal.

Albeit Sparsh Shrivastav did a fine job.

I am eagerly anticipating Randeep Hooda’s Veer Savarkar movie, which promises to school some of these over-privileged actors and truly depict the essence of struggle.

I don’t know why people have given such a low rating to this movie.

But honestly in my opinion this was a spectacular movie based on our Indian warriors and their contributions which were not that well known. A must watch

Overall, the plot was the best part

Yes, the acting and the performance by the main felt a little short to reach the viewers expectations

Debjani Bardhan roy

Splendid story and Unjustified acting by Sara Ali Khan, Through out the movie, Despite being the main character, her presence fails to keep the audience hooked with her dead eyes and plain face; She has overdone alot of areas and even missed some brilliant points of connect with audience through her screen presence. And I have no clue what’s up with her open mouth in every serious shot.

All an all, Another good script which has gone to utter waste because of wrong casting!

Goodluck on watching the film!
